Not for the faint of heart

So I am quickly realizing that things just don't go as planned when you have a baby. I think that has been one of the hardest adjustments, thus far. I sometimes miss the days of being able to get up and go and not worry about 100 different things, like packing a diaper dag and do I have extra clothes for Ash or should I bring an extra bottle..etc. Don't get me wrong I love this time in my life, it's just different. Anyways, all this to lead up to crazy events last night. Jeremy was going to be out late for work golfing ( I know doesn't sound like work, right?), so my sweet in laws invited Ashtyn and I for dinner to a Mexican restaurant. I was tired and Ashtyn wasn't feeling well, but I figured it would be nice to get out. We were just about to leave when I picked Ashtyn up off her play mat and realized she had had a blow out. Yup...all over her cute cherry jumper and all over her play mat. So I grabbed her and went into change her. It was all up her back and the worst part is the jumper has to be pulled over her head! So yup....all in her hair! I couldn't put her straight in the bath, so I had to rinse her off and then get a bath started. Meanwhile, I was trying to save the cherry jumper and play mat..soak and start laundry, and call my in laws! I got it all together, started the laundry, made a phone call and we were back on track. I got Ashtyn changed into her pajamas and not a minute later she threw up all over them, me and my floor. YIKES! You would think I would have a mini breakdown at this point....but no, super mom...HA! I took my sweater off, put on pajamas, changed Ashtyn again, put the tub away and sat down. I stood up to get her other play mat out and, you won't believe it...Ashtyn threw up again! In the end we went through 2 outfit changes, 2 pairs of pajamas each, 2 loads of laundry, 2 baths, and 2 Tylenol ( for my headache)! I just had to laugh at the evening. Here I thought we would go to a nice restaurant, eat dinner, spend time with family...ha ha! My wonderful mother in law brought me food from the restaurant and it was yummy. They sure do take care of me and Ashtyn! All in all crazy night! But I wouldn't trade those moments for anything!
These are the best pictures I could get of the event....Gross, YES! Memory, Definitely!
( I didn't add any poop pictures...You can use your imagination)

Ashtyn thinks it's funny....My happy, sick tummy girl

Side note: Ash and I were able to catch up on a lot of our tivo shows. I love hanging out with my little girl!
