Something New

So I decided to try something new... and actually a couple somethings new.

1.  I recently joined a moms group/ bible study on facebook and (get this) made an actual friend who lives in Azusa. What are the chances? There are women from all over the world in this group and Kayse happens to live literally up the street. She is awesome and we instantly hit it off.  She has a beautiful little girl whom Miss A adores. Yeah for new friends!

2. A few weeks ago Kayse and I went to an event hosted by Moms Central. I have never done anything like this before, but thought it would be neat to try and a perfect chance for us to hangout and a have special dates with our baby girls.

The pic is a little blurry :( But these 2 Little Misses had so much fun playing together.

3.  I was blessed to participate with an event from Mom's Central where we previewed Energizer flameless wax candles along with Energizer batteries. Because of this event... I have a new love... these candles. Where have these been my whole life? They are so perfect for our lifestyle at the moment. I LOVE candles and always have them going in our home. With the Energizer flameless wax candle I feel such a sense of relief  because I don't have to worry about Miss A pulling it down and getting hurt! I also love it because I don't have to think twice about whether or not I blew it out before leaving our home (that happens often).  It is awesome!  They look absolutely like the real thing (flickering light and all) and smell delicious.  And get this..the candle has timer, so it turns on by itself. My life instantly got easier..ha! By the way... Did you know that  Energizer Max Batteries with Power Seal Technology hold their power up to 10 years on shelf. Crazy right? Since these are powering my candle, I won't have to buy batteries or regular candles for awhile..ha! Jeremy will be so happy! These batteries would also be perfect for kids' toys this Christmas.  So stock up!

See my candle? I LOVE it!

I am so glad I was able to attend this event and try out these products. It was a lot of fun, definitely out of the norm of my life, but fun!

So to recap:
1. Making a new friend is awesome!
2. Mom Central's Energizer Event was a great night for Miss A and our new friends to have a special date.
3. Flameless candles are AMAZING and everyone should own one! I need like 10....(hopefully Jer will read this and gets the subtle hint :)
4. Energizer Max Batteries with power seal technology are the batteries to buy!! I still can't believe they hold a 10 year shelf life. I think that is crazy!
5. I love my babies and God is good! This is nothing new...but I thought I would add it anyway!
