Mom and Me Halloween Party

I figured better late than never...ha!

I am so excited to be going to Bethany Baptist Church again. They have started a mom and me group and I am loving it. There are so many moms that are in the same season of life as me and it is great to spend time together, learn and just hang out! This is something I have dreamed about ever since Ashtyn was born! We don't always get to go to the events because I usually work on Fridays, but we were able to attend the Halloween Party. It was so sweet and all the kids were so cute in their costumes. Charlene hosted the party and had such fun activites foir the kiddos. Ashtyn was to young to participate in most, so I did them for her. Fun Story: My herat was melting because Ashtyn was soooo loving and just wanted to hug and kiss all the kids! I am sooo seriuos...she would not stop! It was so sweet, however the kids didnt want to be hugged or kissed. They would all start to cry. I had to literrally pick her up an dhold her for like 30 minutes because she kept hugging and kissing. My poor baby didn't understand. She just wanted to show love. The other moms kept commenting on how we must show a lot of love at home..which made mt heart happy. But I was soooo sad that the other kids didnt want to hug her back..ha! Is this whats its like? I can only imagine when she has her first heart break or someone says something that isn't nice....my heart can't handle this! ha! Overall it was a cute day and fun time getting to know other moms and share things that only moms would appreciate. Side note: My mom had boughten Ashtyn a lady bug custome for fun and play, so she wore it to the party. She is the cutest little bug I have ever seen!
