Ashtyn is growing up so quickly, it is CRAZY! I am so excited to see her doing new things, but at the same time so sad that she is not a baby anymore....Is this normal? I am constantly fighting happiness with sadness....I guess either way it's my new normal! Ha! So Tuesday night Ashtyn rolled over for the first time! She has been so close lately and it was just a matter of days before it actually happened. She did it again at Gymboree on Wednesday...
and everyone clapped....YEAH ASH!
She also does this little scoot on her back trick. At Gymboree we do parachute time where the babies lay on their backs and we hold a parachute over him..Ashtyn loves this! Every time the parachute would come down Ashtyn would scoot herself a little more towards the middle. So each time the parachute came up she was further in...Mrs. Liz thought this was hilarious and couldn't believe how far she would get each time. So they decided to watch Ashtyn as the parachute came down and try to figure out how she could move so quickly. Sure enough as soon as the parachute touched her nose she would arch her back and scoot her way up.
She is so clever! I love it!
As I type this, Ashtyn has scooted herself off the mat and is watching TV..ha! Don't judge..she doesn't watch TV all the time..
Okay on a different note I posted on facebook today that I started a blog....I am so nervous! For so long I have kept this private, but I guess I am ready to share with the world...ha ha...more like my 10 family members! The whole reason I started a blog was to journal Ashtyn's first moments. I am not a great writer and am often grammatically incorrect. Oh well....thanks to my 4 readers ( you know who you are..K,K,M,J) for encouraging me to continue to blog! It is crazy how much fun I am having by doing this. I just wish I had more time to write...and on that note it is time to put Ashtyn down for a nap. I am trying to have a more regular schedule. Yes Kristy, that one is for you! It is hard working part time and trying to keep a schedule. She really does well, but I think a schedule will help us out even more. Wish me luck..she generally will scream for 15 mins. and then fall asleep..Hopefully this will get easier!
Side note: Sorry there aren't that many pictures lately! I love to post pictures, but honestly just haven't been taking many..I will get on it! Blogs are so much more fun with pictures!
