Parties, Surprises and Spiders...

We had and exciting and busy weekend! Saturday we had a graduation party ( which Kara planned) and it was perfect!

Anyways..Ashtyn was a social butterfly and carried the party long after 9:30...ha! Everyone was impressed by her easygoing, full of life personality...I was a happy momma ( I was so thankful for all the students and friends who watched her at the party while Jeremy and I ate and talked...it was like a mini date...ha. Working at a high school means plenty of babysitters and Ash loves them all)!

My grandma had a surprise 70th birthday party on Sunday and oh was it a surprise! The biggest surprise of all was my sister who flew out from Illinois with Jace, I am so glad they are here Ashtyn has already fallen back in love with her favorites! It was the perfect Sunday...Jeremy preached at church, we ate yummy food, celebrated a wonderful woman and Miss A wore a handmade dress made by me! Life is good...We are blessed.

Monday Jeremy fixed our toilet...random, I know...but I was/am so impressed! What a handy man!!! Then we headed over to my mom's for a BBQ and swim time. It was a beautiful night with family. By 8:00 last night, I was exhausted! Jer wanted to watch GI Joe and I wasn't as thrilled...Okay, it really is a good movie...or maybe I was too delirious? We didn't finish it because I was falling asleep...but all I can think about is watching it..ha! The big question is...do I watch it while Jer is at work and Miss A naps...or do I wait until tonight ( and possibly fall asleep again) Hmmm? Anyways...It was a perfect weekend with perfect people...

Side note: The exterminator is coming today...I hesitated to call because I know he thinks I am a nut! When I said, "hi Mike it's Krista"...he said, " Oh Krista...I remember you" ( it has been about a year)..ha! it's not my fault that I am terrified of spiders, I was made this way! The first time he came to visit I probably called him 4 or 5 times with spider questions....don't judge! Anyways, he said he would personally come himself today...Is it weird that I am so excited! I HATE spiders....eghhh! 

Side note #2: I have become the spider expert....We had to take a first aid class at the school and there was an entire section on spiders...I thought I was going to die! Although I hated every second of it, I learned a lot! The next week at church we were walking up and I noticed Brown Widow Egg Sacks hanging on the fence...Jer and I started investigating and realized there were more then we had realized...We told Josh ( Jeremy's brother and the pastor) after church and they had an exterminator come right away...There ended up being hundreds of egg sacks all around the playground....Crazy! The area we live in infested right now ( I really hate the word)..anyways....I created a bit of a commotion (not my intention)....We laugh bout it now...

Okay..Happy Tuesday! Miss A, Jace, Jess, My mom and I are off to the splash park!!!
