The BIB

This past Thursday, my cousin threw a surprise birthday party for her boyfriend Clint. It would be the first time we would all be meeting each others family..fun night! Ashtyn has this bib that has a saying on the front, that embarrasses me every time she wears it, but it is seriously our best bib. It is one that slips over her head, so she can't pull it off...anyways, I didn't buy it for myself, I never would, but we do use it all of the time! So I brought the bib to the party( it is our best bib) and of course instantly my other cousins started making fun. I tried to explain, but they were all having a good time and let's get serious, if it wasn't me, I would be right there laughing with them. Miss A finished eating and we went inside, but I thought to myself, " we will come back out, so I will leave the bib here to use later". Well... we never went back outside (it got real cold, real fast).  Clint has 2 brothers with adorable families. I was actually thinking to myself...hey we could totally be friends. I had the chance to talk to them a little bit about babies, family size (I want 5 kids and his brother has 5 kids), delivery, etc. It was a good night. We eventually left to go home and at around 10:30 I got a text from my sweet cousin that read..." Is this yours?", with a picture of the bib....How embarrassing! I had left it outside and his brothers and their families had ended up sitting at the same table we were originally at! I could imagine them all, sitting around, laughing about this girl who thinks so highly of herself with this silly bib....First impressions are everything right? Oh well...maybe someday I will be able to explain the story behind the bib, although will I then seem like the crazy cousin...I guess it is time to find a new bib.  I called my cousin right away and we laughed, she said she thought it was funny I would have something like that....ha!
