So this is totally random and completely out of order...but I guess that's my life now a days...ha (I laugh to make me feel better)! I was uploading pictures from Disneyland and found all this pictures (119 to be exact) from November to January. How did I forget about these events? I will blame it on the pregnancy.... The other day I actually went to the market with my slippers on...My mind is crazy all over the place and forgetful. So anyways here we go... and even the pictures/events below are completely out of order...sigh...oh well...
Chick Fil A had a Daddy Daughter Date Night and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. They had a special seating section, with table clothes and flowers. They passed out corsages, had a piano player playing dinner music and a photographer taking pictures. On each table they had a list of conversation started (how thoughtful are they). They even gave chocolate covered strawberries. After the dinner the had carriage rides and Miss A LOVED this. We went on twice and the second time there was no line waiting so he took us for a long ride around the entire parking lot. It was such a special time and so fun to see all these daddy's with their girls. Jeremy is such a blessing. I thank God for him everyday.
We went to Luke and Tad's soccer game and Ash had so much fun! She loved walking around, stealing balls and sipping her sweet tea...ha! ( not really sweet tea, ice water)
Ashtyn's 1st Vinces Birthday...Many to come!
We went to the Rose Parade this year and OH MY....I LOVED it! I was super skeptical and not super excited to wake up at 4 in the morning. I rarely watch the parade and thought...eh! I think I must of complained for an hour the night before...ungrateful..I know..I know ( I am working on that) Okay, I was totally singing a different tune by the end of the parade! I actually think I was the most excited of our group!!! I seriously loved every single minute of it! It has been my grandma's dream to go to the parade, so my Aunt Barbara go these amazing tickets for us all. We did not have to spend the night ( I would never) and we were on the street. SERIOUSLY BEST SEATS EVER! I knew I would love the Rose Queen and the cheerleaders...but who would of thought the floats..I LOVED the floats! Anyways, I am petitioning to go back next year. I LOVE the Rose Parade.
Our church does an annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the city of Montclair and it is a lot of fun with family and friends. It was raining so hard that night and we were a mess. There was no parking and we were so wet!
Eating lunch after church. I just love this dress. I remember buying it before Miss A was even born. I can't believe she is too big for it now. I am hoping it will be a cute shirt this fall...with leggings, maybe?
This is how most of our Sunday lunches end. Papa Tom will take Ashtyn, so Jeremy and I get a break. We are so thankful for grandparents and Ashtyn loves her Papa! They usually will go to the car and he will let her push all the buttons and pretend like she is driving. She loves it!
Calli watched Ashtyn the other day and her and Carter had a blast!! I love this picture and how he is looking at her. She is 14 1/2 months and he is 18 months.
On our way to Grandma...
I'm here Grandma!
I think this picture is so funny because what you can't see is Jace trying to get to her. She had a toy they both wanted, so she took it and climbed up on the chair...Little stinker, but pretty clever!
Here is a better shot!
Side note from the present time:
I could hear Miss A reading this morning from her room. It was so sweet...and not really reading, but looking at the pictures and saying the words like ball, book, etc...It makes my heart SOOOO happy!
The past couple of mornings Miss A hasn't really been finishing her bottle..hmmm? Maybe we are starting to wean of this. That would be lovely seeing I feel like I am the only mom who lets her 15 month old drink a bottle....Oh well.
Miss A still has a bad cold! I feel like every 2 weeks she has a cold...poor girl! She still loves her green suction bulb and actually asks, "more". This morning I was trying to do the saline (jeremy usually does it) and I sprayed it right in her eye. She started laughing so hard...sweet thing! I wanted to die I felt so bad and then was of course mad at Jeremy because it was clearly his fault I did it..haha!
And the biggest news of all.... Ashtyn has 2 more teeth coming in on top! I HATE teething but am so glad she is finally getting some teeth. That makes 7 teeth at 15 months. WAHOO!
I'm sorry that Ashton has a cold, hope she feels better soon. I used to go to the Rose Parade and stay all night, it was great being there so I know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy! Yes, I LOVE the Rose Parade. It was such a cool experience.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to say that I love all these pictures, Ashton is grown so much and is just adorable. And teething is so hard to go through, it's very difficult to see your child go through so much pain, makes you wish you could take the pain away from them.
