This post will just be a bunch of pictures from our Easter festivities. We celebrated Easter about 5 times with Family, but on actual Easter had such a low key day. I loved it and loved celebrating what Easter was really about.
Let me start off by saying I LOVE Easter shoes and I LOVE her little feet! I think this picture might be my all time favorite picture. It is so simple and pure and exactly the way life should be... Okay now moving onto our Easter festivities...
EGG DYING:She loved dying Easter Eggs! She would drop each egg in the dye and wait and then try to eat it...ha!
MATLOCK EASTER PARTY:
We gave Miss A an early Easter present so she could wear it at the pool at Aunt Jenni's. She LOVES her Minnie Mouse!
Miss A loves her Josh! She says Josh all day long..At church she will see him on stage and yell Josh...ha!
I put this picture in cause lets be serious this is what half of our pictures are like...ha!
Miss A ROCKED the Easter Egg hunt and ROCKED her new Minnie Cover up over her Minnie Jammies....We Love Minnie!
On the ride home...Sweet bunny dreams.
EASTER BUNNY VISIT WITH CARTER:
Checking him out and not to sure... I definitely had to take the picture with her and was so flustered. I felt like every parent eye was watching me and judging me for trying to make my sweet, precious, oh so scared daughter take a picture with a big, scary, oh not so sweet bunny. Jeremy walked away and left me in the midst of stares and tears...so my ideal bunny picture dreams died that night, at least for 2012. The worst part is every child after us LOVED the crazy bunny. I felt as if I was in a dream watching each child gleefully skip up to the bunny and jump into his arms and smile sweetly for the camera. Ha! I was so disappointed. However this was a good reminder that life isn't perfect and my ideals are a little unrealistic at times...I mean I really can't blame the girl..He was big and furry...Funny though, she kept saying, "Minnie", like she might have taken the picture if it was Minnie Mouse...Can anyone say Disney pass daddy?
She did like Carter! Which is more important anyways...By the way Carter loved the silly bunny!
Walking with her picture through out the mall...She kept looking back to make sure the bunny wasn't following us...HA!
EASTER EGG HUNT WITH THE MATLOCK FAMILY:
She loved it!!!! She is so our daughter...We are not competitive at all! Ha!
It's as if she is saying faster daddy...faster!
Ready for Good Friday Service...My favorite night!
EASTER WITH MY FAMILY:
Opening her basket...Have I mentioned with LOVE Minnie Mouse...It was a Disney themed Easter.
Graham's Basket...Thanks Auntie Lynne!
I adore these overalls!! Thanks Aunt Paula!
Ashytn had her first BIG accident while we were celebrating with my family. She was trying to walk out onto the porch and tripped and fell flat on her face. OH MY was it scary...I have never seen so much blood. It stopped pretty quick, but for a good 5 minutes blood was every where. Jeremy, myself and ofcourse Ashtyn was covered. I couldn't tell if she split her chin or if it was a tooth.... She ended up bitting through her lip, but no stitches were neccesary. She was so sweet and really did well considering how tramatic it really was. She even picked up a rag and started to help clean the porch floor where there was blood. She loves to help! We gave her popsicles and she loved that! It was swollen for a few days, but is all better now. Praise God that it wasn't worse!
