1 year old Ashtyn Layne

Well well well...It has been awhile and I am not going to make excuses. Life is BUSY! A lot has happened the last couple of months and a part of me is still in some shock in the idea of all that is to come. Ashtyn is now 1 year old! OH MY MY! I think my last post she was 10 months? So I will be updating and recapping a lot these next couple of days. I will start with the most recent ( which I know is completely confusing, but no one really reads this and its more for my own documentation). Ashtyn, you are 1 year old and soooo smart! You are saying and signing so many words it is crazy. Here are a list of words:

3. more ( actual first word besides mom & dad since 10 months)

4. hat

5. milk

6. all done

You say all the words plus:

4. Tess ( our cats name)

5. this ( also one of your first words 10 months)

You love to dance and are constantly dancing. You shake your hips and it is sooo cute! Just yesterday we where at Chaffey High School and were walking by the dance team and you stopped and started shaking your hips, they loved it! Ha!

You love books and love to read. We are constantly reading to you. You will sit in your chair and hold the book and read to yourself, so sweet. I love that you love to read.

You love your Pottery Barn Chair. You sit there and watch your favorite shows Thomas the Train, Sid the Science Kid, and Barney. you love videos too! Jonah, Baby Signing Time, Disney Sing Along Songs and Barney Circus.

You love to give kisses and will kiss and say, "BWAH". I love it! You are so loving and caring and love giving kisses to us and your dolls. You love Tess and she is slowly letting you start to pet her. You have even snuck her a kiss or two.

You are eating big kid food, and I use the word eating loosely. It's weird because you are such a great eater, but also very picky at times. You love waffles, cheese puffs, yogurt chips, pancakes, chicken, corn, and cheerios. You will not eat anything green and will place all the food you don't like it your highchairs cup holder. It is so funny.

You are drinking 3, 7 oz. bottles a day of almond milk (at this point) a day. One morning bottle when you first wake up, one at your afternoon nap and one before bed. And yes you are still nursing! Only once a day, but girl do you love nit! I am trying to slowly wean you off.

We have started playing blocks with you and you can stack them on your own you and pick out different animals on the blocks ( monkey, butterfly and bird).

You are wearing size 3 diapers, 12- 18 months clothes, size 4 shoes and are 21 pounds and 24 1/2 inches long.

This is a very long post about a lot of detailed things,but its because i really want to remember everything and especially because I will need to remember it for the next baby. I love you more and more everyday and am so blessed to be your mommy!
