Last night was Ashtyn's first time eating baby food with Jace! They both loved it! I have never given her cereal or solids, so I was a little nervous to how she would respond....ha ha...I should have known..she LOVED it! Her face was sooo funny! I wish we would have video taped it. As I was giving her her first bite she was shaking her head back and forth trying to get the spoon in her mouth faster ( not a great visual, but it was so cute...and I can see it perfectly in my head) ha! She then continued to hold on to the spoon and try to feed herself. It was a fun first experience! We ate bananas and a little oatmeal cereal. So today I am breaking out my baby food recipes and baby food maker and starting to make her food. I am so excited and have been looking forward to this day for so long.
Another first Ashtyn has began to conquer this week is crawling...She isn't completely crawling yet, but is sooo close! She will get up on all fours like she is ready to move and scoot herself backwards... I am so happy she is developing and growing, but at the same time am a little sad she isn't a baby anymore. I know I said I couldn't imaging having a another baby after my crazy labor....but I am definitely rethinking that statement..In fact, I would take another baby right now! ha!
