Ashtyn said MAMA!

Today was such a great day. Jeremy, Ashtyn and I went down to LA to eat breakfast with Kara and hang out for the day. We ate at this little place called The Griddle and oh my was it good! Don't judge but we waited 45 minutes to get in and eat. They make you stand in a line outside and then a little man comes out and yells out names. It is kinda like the soup Nazi from Seinfeld..ha! My anxiety was so high...but I really wanted their Oreo Cookie pancake! They have the BEST pancakes and they are huge! We got 2 pancakes to share and between the 3 of us didn't even make a dent! After breakfast we went down to Santa Monica Pier. Jeremy and I had never been there and it was obviously Ashtyn's first time. It was a lot of fun. It was a little crowded and there were some characters, but a fun time none the less. Ashtyn had a blast and made many friends. I just love how friendly she is with everyone! Always smiling. Some one even stopped me and told me that she needs to get an agent! ha! So funny!

She was such a good girl at the restaurant...She sat in her car seat and played with her toys and of course the people around us...ha!
Kara and Ash..They love each other!

The crazy good Oreo Cookie pancakes! Yum!

Ashtyn loves to drink water!! She kept wanting more!

We then came home and took a walk, ate some bananas, and took a bath. We are all exhausted and hopefully will get to bed early. Ashtyn is already asleep and Jeremy and I are watching The Green Hornet. He has been wanting to see this for so long. I hate to admit it but it is actually kinda funny..shh! don't tell Jer I said that.

I left to get a napkin and came back and she was trying to feed herself...so sweet!

But the biggest news of today is that ASHTYN SAID MAMA for the first time! It is her first word and oh my, I am sooo happy! She just kept saying it over and over and over!!! We were in Starbucks on 3rd street promenade and I was shouting from the roof tops my little girl just said mama. Don't worry I fit in just fine with all the street performers. I am so happy! It was a glorious day!

Right after she said Mama and I told everyone on the street...
I am going to try and upload a video soon!
